Tune Your Corvette C8 Transmission With HP Tuners

This upgrade service enables transmission tuning support through VCM Suite and allows customers to build complete ECM and TCM calibration packages using HP Tuners hardware and software.

NOTE: The GM T46 TCM Upgrade Service requires your vehicle’s original TCM. This is an upgrade service only and is not a replacement controller purchase. Once upgraded, the TCM can be licensed and tuned using HP Tuners software and compatible hardware. The GM T46 TCM Upgrade Service is compatible with MPVI4 devices only.

About the GM T46 TCM Upgrade Service

The GM T46 TCM Upgrade Service enables transmission tuning support for supported Global B Corvette C8 applications equipped with the Tremec dual-clutch transmission.

Once upgraded, users gain access to supported transmission calibration functionality through VCM Editor, advanced diagnostics through VCM Scanner, and remote tuning workflows through RTD4 and the Tune Delivery Network (TDN).

This service completes HP Tuners’ Corvette C8 tuning ecosystem by providing support for both engine and transmission calibration workflows.

Once upgraded and licensed, users will have access to:

• Transmission diagnostics and data logging
• Calibration editing through VCM Editor
• Logging and analysis through VCM Scanner
• Read, edit, and write functionality for supported transmission calibrations
• Remote tuning capability through RTD4 and TDN
• Complete ECM and TCM tuning workflows for supported Corvette C8 applications

Everything You Need to Start Tuning

1. This one-time, send-in GM T46 TCM Service (Global B) (upgrade service).
2. Download the latest version of VCM Suite BETA for free. 
3. An MPVI4 device. 
   1. Purchase a new MPVI4.
   2. Upgrade to MPVI4.
4. Once upgraded, purchase (6) Universal Credits.

Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of any upgrade service or purchase. Credits must be purchased separately. GM Global B vehicle support is only compatible with our MPVI4 interface.
