  • 2005

    Founder Erik Bentley purchases his first LS-powered vehicle, a 2002 Camaro SS.  It is on this vehicle that he sharpens his technical skills and develops a passion for all things related to GM performance.

  • 2010-2018

    Erik Bentley co-owns and operates a well-known performance shop where he played a pivotal role in building their reputation as a premier destination for high-performance automotive work. During his tenure, Erik solidified himself as a respected leader and expert in the late model GM market, driving innovation, performance, and excellence in every build.

  • 2021

    Born from decades of real-world racing experience and winning results, Florida High Performance is established and begins operating out of a one-man, 2200 square foot warehouse in Boca Raton, FL.

  • 2024-Present

    The shop is relocated to its current 7000 sq ft facility in Pompano Beach, FL.  FLHP builds a thriving social media presence, reaching over 250,000 people each month with engaging content and standout builds. National reputation draws clients from across the country who trust the team to handle their high-performance vehicles with expert care.
